With 9+ Years experience in the Intelligence and UAS (Drone) Sector and Technical Operations Specialist with a passion for using technology to solve complex, real-world challenges. I thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments where precision, coordination, and adaptability are key. My career has evolved across multiple industries from high end entertainment technology to intelligence operations and now advanced drone applications. Dating back more than 10 years of working with UAV’s in wildlife conservation and Rhino Poaching Prevention’s. This unique blend of technical, operational, and analytical experience gives me a strong foundation in aerial systems, digital forensics, and mission-based problem solving. After serving as a Crime Intelligence Electronic Surveillance Operative within the South African Police Service (SAPS), I transitioned into the UAS field, combining my background in data acquisition, electronics, and tactical operations to enhance situational awareness and mission success. Today, I am a certified Drone Pilot rated for both VLOS and BVLOS operations. Aerial surveillance and tactical support Search and rescue and night IR operations 2D/3D mapping, GIS modeling, and evidence capture Operational training and consulting for public safety and security with more than +300 / +1000 Flights in Controlled Airspace. My work frequently involves multi-agency coordination, field maintenance, and real-time aerial intelligence during critical operations. I’m also actively developing a Tactical Drone Operations Training Program, designed to strengthen collaboration between drone pilots and ground teams in high-risk or time-sensitive missions. While writing a White Paper research project within the UAV Industry in South Africa. With a technical background in Sound Engineering and experience maintaining complex stage and surveillance systems, I bring a deep understanding of system reliability, diagnostics, and field maintenance skills that translate directly into UAV platform management and operational readiness. I’m enrolling for my UAS Instructor Rating and Maintenance Technician qualification, expanding my capabilities in drone training, technical compliance, and systems maintenance.
